Between floating to the surface and sinking deep down into the unknown, some things are destined to waver until they merely become known as something else. <Merely Known as Something Else> tells the story of Soojin, Inju, and Yoojung—three women connected by their relationships with Jungho. After Jungho’s sudden disappearance, we witness the unfolding of the three women’s stories. Soojin, Jungho’s lover, is having an affair with Hoonsung. Inju, who secretly admires Jungho, discovers she may have a terminal illness which prompts her to confess her feelings. Yoojung, Jungho’s former girlfriend, struggles with unresolved guilt over Jungho’s past suicide attempt, causing dissonance in her current relationship with Wooseok.
